It’s Nearly Here – COP26!

Author name

The UK will host the 26th UN ‘Climate Change Conference of the Parties’ (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021.

This is a really important conference for the world as it is an opportunity to fast track action towards unified goals to help with climate change. The goal is to increase climate ambition, build resilience and lower emissions.

Net-zero emissions have never been more topical. Australia is yet to commit politically to net-zero but many companies we're working with right now are. We've been busy working on the waste/carbon nexus over the last 2 years. Our ‘Impact ‘Calculator’ is now ready to help your business work out how it can make a difference.

The conference has already been rescheduled from last year due to Covid-19, however the time to act is now. Climate change is impacting people all around the world and we need to come together and act.

We are looking forward to seeing what comes out of the conference, stay tuned for updates.

Get in touch if you would like to hear more about Matter and how our technology is changing the waste landscape.
